Whether it's a Lowrance depth finders or fish finders or a Hummingbird fish finders, catfish tournament fishermen need a good fish finder. Trying to learn a new lake or river with out one is almost impossible. We personally use Lowrance fish finders. We use the LCX-17M and the LCX-15M Lowrance fish finders. I have seen the 3D Hummingbird fish finder in use and it is a pretty good unit as well. Eagle depth finders are comparable to Lowrance. Whichever brand you do decide to go with, make sure you have one you can use, read, and understand - it could mean the difference in fishing and catching.
